Sodexo, the quality of daily life solutions provider and 21st largest employer in the world, awarded ANSERTEAM, LLC, Diverse Supplier of the Year at this year’s client vendor partner meeting on June 9, in Washington D.C. Mary Cinquepalmi, Supply Manager for Sodexo, presented the award to the three founders and the national executive of ANSERTEAM, LLC. Ms. Cinquepalmi stated, “This year’s Diverse Supplier Award goes to a vendor partner that has made significant strides in contract compliance, operational benefits and supplier diversity spend. The winner has worked with us to achieve two important benefits: First, the nominee has been proactive in offering a contract compliance solution. They developed a model to bring non-compliant providers under one contract. Second, this partner made great contributions to Sodexo’s supplier diversity goal. The company was formed by three women who joined together to create the first ever national alliance of independent staffing firms. They worked closely with Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) to obtain national certification in 2009. Since then, all spend with this vendor is tracked as Tier 1, diverse spend.”

ANSERTEAM, LLC was formed in 2005 by Valerie Freeman, CEO of Imprimis Group, Dallas, Texas; Sue Romanos, CEO of CAREERXCHANGE, Miami, Florida; and Denise Jakeway, CEO of The Supporting Cast in New York City, New York. Together they recruited 60 other top independently owned U.S. and Canadian staffing firms and created their national staffing model. After capitalizing the company, an experienced national staff was hired and the model has proved successful.    The owner/members of ANSERTEAM, LLC each have 20 plus years in the staffing business and wanted to create a vehicle for corporations who want to do business with local, independent firms as well as women and minority-owned firms, yet have the convenience and cost effectiveness of working with one national point of contact and one national contract. ANSERTEAM, LLC is the only company of its kind in the U.S. and Canada with over 300 offices, $1.2 billion in revenue and currently 73 top quality rated independent staffing firms who own the company. In addition to offering Tier 1 diverse spend, the clients of ANSERTEAM are provided unified billing, instant reporting, web-based management tools, vendor management, and a seamless staffing experience across the enterprise.
