Mary Cinquepalmi, Supply Manager for Sodexo, presented the award to the three founders and the national executive of ANSERTEAM, LLC. Ms. Cinquepalmi stated, “This year’s Diverse Supplier Award goes to a vendor partner that has made significant strides in contract compliance, operational benefits and supplier diversity spend. The winner has worked with us to achieve two important benefits: First, the nominee has been proactive in offering a contract compliance solution. They developed a model to bring non-compliant providers under one contract. Second, this partner made great contributions to Sodexo’s supplier diversity goal. The company was formed by three women who joined together to create the first ever national alliance of independent staffing firms. They worked closely with Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) to obtain national certification in 2009. Since then, all spend with this vendor is tracked as Tier 1, diverse spend.”
