Back by popular demand, All Romance® eBooks (ARe) is accepting submissions for their annual Just One Bite writing contest, which is open to both published and unpublished authors.

ARe Just One Bite Contest
“We expect this year’s entries to be as diverse and exciting as last year’s,” says Cat Johnson, the Editor-In-Charge of the contest and ARe’s Manager of Media and Public Relations.

The owners of the eBook retailer ARe announced today that submissions will open July 1 for the Just One Bite Short Story Contest. Interested writers should visit All Romance for complete details and the submission form.

Last year’s contest featured works from all sub-genres of paranormal romance, from sweet to erotic, contemporary to historical, gay to multiple-partner, and more, all sharing the common elements found in paranormal romance and of course that happy ending readers love. The contestants ranged from writers with NY contracts and extensive backlists to others who have yet to be published.

The first prize winner will receive $1000 US. The second prize winner will receive an iPad 2. The third prize winner will receive a $100 eBook Bucks Gift Certificate redeemable either at AllRomance.com or OmniLit.com.

“We expect this year’s entries to be as diverse and exciting as last year’s,” says Cat Johnson, the Editor-In-Charge of the contest and ARe’s Manager of Media and Public Relations. “It’s wonderful to see so many talented authors competing.”

Each title submitted must be an original, never before published paranormal romance work between 2,500 and 3,000 words. Submissions will be accepted between July 1 and September 1, 2011. Since many more submissions are expected than the number of available finalist spots, a committee will narrow the field down to 32 Semi-Finalists. Those 32 stories will be released for voting on October 1, 2011. In addition, after the contest, the 32 “Semi-Finalists” short stories will bundled and published by All Romance via their Free Read program. More information about the Free Read program can be found in the Advertising/Affiliate section of the home page at AllRomance.com.
