Keep Your Hands Off My Home Teaming up with Legal Experts to Provide Homeowners with Foreclosure Information

"The banks are woefully unprepared to handle cases where the homeowners actually know their rights and challenge them on their right to even be involved in the process," said Missouri attorney Dale Wiley, who will speak at the seminar.

Keep Your Hands Off My Home will provide St. Louis homeowners with two seminars next week, June 28, 2011 and June 30, 2011, designed to help them stay in their homes.

The seminars will be held Tuesday, June 28 at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn South County Center, at I-55 and Lindbergh, and Thursday June 30 at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn St. Louis Airport at 4505 Woodson Road. The seminars are free, but participants must register by calling 314-542-3080.

The group has partnered with Foreclosure Law LLC to provide homeowners with an understanding of the issues surrounding the foreclosure crisis, including the growing concerns about the validity of bank paperwork and the right of the banks to foreclose in the first place.

"The banks are woefully unprepared to handle cases where the homeowners actually know their rights and challenge them on their right to even be involved in the process," said Missouri attorney Dale Wiley, who will speak at the seminar.

Wiley's firm, Foreclosure Law LLC, has handled foreclosure cases for homeowners in Missouri, Arizona, New York and California. They have stopped dozens of foreclosures and been involved in ground-breaking litigation in the field.

Topics will include short sales, the bank's need to produce the note, post-foreclosure strategies and the liability of the foreclosure trustees.
