WorldatWork, a U.S.-based global human resources association, announced it has formed a strategic alliance with The New Zealand Remuneration Network Inc. (RemNet), a not-for-profit member organization based in Auckland, NZ.
Initially, the alliance will focus on offering Global Remuneration Professional or GRP® training classes to prepare reward professionals for certification through the WorldatWork Society for Certified Professionals. The GRP designation provides a foundation of knowledge spanning across borders. The GRP is earned by passing a required battery of eight examinations.
RemNet will be hosting courses in Auckland, New Zealand as follows:
- Total Rewards Management (GR1): August 2-4, 2011
- Variable Pay (GR6): November 17-19, 2011
WorldatWork designations are known throughout the HR and rewards community as marks of expertise and excellence in all areas of rewards. WorldatWork Career Center data show that 83% of employers look for certification when recruiting HR professionals. Nearly 20,000 HR practitioners have attained a WorldatWork designation since certification was introduced in 1976.
