Everlast Synthetic Products, the Georgia-based manufacturer of vinyl seawalls and bulkhead products, has appointed Steve Kulp to serve as Regional Manager for the State of Florida. The announcement was made by Brad Lund, co-owner of the company.

“We are very pleased to have Steve Kulp cover the State of Florida for us,” said Lund. “He has been in the industry for 20 years and is highly qualified to call on engineers, developers, marine contractors and homeowners regarding their seawall and bulkhead needs. Steve has been with Everlast Synthetic Products for more than 5 years. He distinguished himself handling International Sales for the company, and we are very confident that as Regional Manager, he will quickly take a leadership role in our Florida region.”

Kulp noted that Florida has become an important market for vinyl sheet piling, one of the company’s premier products. “It has been designed to achieve taller wall heights, making the product suitable for Florida beachfronts, lake properties, riverfronts and retention ponds,” Kulp said. He pointed out that the sheeting design can be either “Z” or “box shaped” depending on site conditions and customer preference. “I look forward to explaining our products across the Sunshine State. From major marina projects to homes on golf courses, I know that we have an excellent story to tell. ”

Kulp said that Everlast Synthetic Products seawalls and bulkheads are featured from the Great Lakes to South Florida, as well as in numerous countries internationally. Lund added that Kulp’s 20 years of experience will serve clients well. “He has seen the world of evolving products, which are replacing the traditional steel. For instance, products such as composite sheet piling and vinyl sheet piling are taking the place of conventional materials on a consistent basis. Steve knows that these are quantum leaps forward in durability and value and brings his deep knowledge with him on every call. ”

Lund explained that sheet piling construction is used when building a vertical wall. This vertical wall is often required to hold back something, usually dirt, earth, or water. It provides protection from erosion and storm damage. He added that vinyl is environmentally friendly and maintenance-free.
