Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 22, 2011
PBC Enterprises, a privately held innovation incubator based in Gaithersburg, MD, has announced the long awaited unveiling of a revolutionary new way to cook with charcoal and wood in your existing gas grill. The company has chosen the 19th annual Safeway National Barbecue Battle on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC June 25th and 26th to showcase some delicious grilling made possible by the CharBQ.
The CharBQ is a patent pending size adjustable tray that is set below the grills of a new or existing barbecue to temporarily convert it into a charcoal or wood burning barbecue. In just a few minutes, anyone can be cooking with wood or charcoal in his or her existing gas grill and give their food a delicious smoky char-grilled flavor.
For those times when only a smoked meal will do, the CharBQ’s smoker lid will help transform any grill into a smoker. Whether you use the CharBQ in your gas grill or to line your charcoal grill, cleanup is a snap. Simply lift out the CharBQ and pour the ash into the trash. Some notable features of the CharBQ include:
o The CharBQ is the only barbecue accessory that allows gas grill users to temporarily cook with charcoal in their gas grill, and quickly and easily switch back to gas grilling.
o The CharBQ is also a grill liner for users of charcoal grills – allowing for easy clean up.
o The CharBQ includes a smoker cover to allow for smoking in addition to grilling on any type of existing grill, gas or charcoal.
o The CharBQ includes removable handles to easily place and remove the unit, hot or cool.
o The CharBQ handles can also be used to remove and replace existing grills.
o The CharBQ is made from stainless steel, so it will not rust.
“We believe strongly that the CharBQ is a game-changer in the barbeque accessory market” said co-inventor Mikel Draghici. There is no other product on the market that converts existing grills into charcoal/smoker grills – completely eliminating the need to invest in a second or third grill.
With many products presently in the development stage, the PBC development team has now brought the CharBQ to market in response to the overwhelming excitement it has generated among the test group of friends, family and acquaintances. “We know the CharBQ will change the way people think about their gas grills and bring joy back to barbecuing - along with the tremendous flavor that only comes from charcoal cooking” said co-inventor John Ingrassia.
