Mooney Brothers Construction, the general contracting firm serving Northern New Jersey, has expanded its service area to include the community of Essex Falls, according to John Mooney, owner of Mooney Brothers Construction.
“I consider it to be another milestone in the history of our company,” said Mooney. “Whenever we are able to serve more of our Northern New Jersey friends and neighbors, the better is it. It’s rewarding. So much of our success is built on word-of-mouth. The fact that we saw demand in Essex Falls, and are able to meet it, is an indicator that our customers are 100% satisfied, and are talking us up in Essex Falls. This is the barometer of our success that we use. Customer satisfaction, and satisfied customer recommendations.”
For more than 22 years, Mooney Brothers Construction has been a design and build general contracting firm. While the term “general contractor” signifies that the company handles new residential and commercial projects, it is only part of the services under Mooney Brothers umbrella.
“We also help families add to and renovate their homes in the New Jersey area,” said Mooney. “We have years of experience in kitchen remodeling; bathroom remodeling; basement finishing and remodeling; family room additions; second story additions; and basement waterproofing. As we like to say, ‘Show us the space you need, and we’ll make that dream a reality.’”
Mooney notes that many families have chosen to remain in their current homes, as opposed to “trading up” to a newer house, given the softness in the real estate market. When they make that decision, they often decide to make certain that many of the features they found in newer houses are built into their existing home.
“This is one of the great joys of the home remodeling end of general contracting,” Mooney said.
Mooney Brothers Construction was founded in 1989. In addition to Essex Falls, the company’s service area in
Northern New Jersey includes major cities such as Fairfield, Montville, Westfield, Livingston, Newark, Summit and Randolph and the communities surrounding them.
