Salem, MA (PRWEB) June 20, 2011
LaVoie Group, a life science and pharmaceuticals-focused strategic communications agency, has won two industry awards for outstanding communications. LaVoie Group has been honored with a 2010 Impact Award from the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), naming LaVoie Group, “Best Industry-Exclusive Agency,” and with a 2011 Bell Ringers Merit Award from The Publicity Club of New England for “Pfizer Animal Heath Employee Communications Campaign.”
LaVoie Group earned the LACP’s “Best Industry-Exclusive Agency” for the third straight year. The agency adapted to the changing market dynamics of 2010’s economic environment to leverage the agency’s breadth of experience across the life sciences industry and earn new clients including Aegerion Pharmaceuticals and Hepregen Corporation. The agency also expanded work with Pfizer, Inc. into its Animal Health Unit, and renewed contracts with industry-leading pharmaceutical companies, such as Invida Group. In addition, the company added new team members who collaborated with clients, continuing to provide them with senior level, strategic counsel tailored to their specific needs allowing for an integrated approach.
“Our group understands the industry’s challenges in a difficult market, which enabled us to deliver strategic value to our clients and demonstrate the necessity of strategic communications counsel,” said President and Chief Executive Officer, Donna L. LaVoie. “We’re especially proud of our work with Pfizer Animal Health, which resulted in successful internal communications among 5,500 employees within the company. We thank the LACP and The Publicity Club of New England for their recognition of our work, and look forward to continuing our momentum through 2011.”
“Nearly 100 entries were received for the 2010 Impact Awards, comprising the best communications from eight countries,” said Christine Kennedy, LACP managing director. “We found the work we reviewed from LaVoie Group merited commendation in this year’s competition and have recognized it as such.”
Lavoie Group has also been honored by The Publicity Club of New England with a 2011 Bell Ringer Merit Award for Pfizer Animal Health Employee Communications Campaign. In 2010, Pfizer Animal Health (PAH) engaged LaVoie Group to develop an internal global communications program to reach over 5,500 employees introducing its New Established Brands to the portfolio. LaVoie Group’s strategy was the utilization of an integrated communications program that was designed to reach all PAH colleagues globally and to facilitate New Established Brands’ successful entry into the animal health market.
