BASF today announced a partnership with Carlisle SynTec to jointly market a high-performance roof utilizing Carlisle’s Sure-White™ EPDM FleeceBACK™ single-ply membrane with BASF’s polyurethane insulating technology.

This unique roofing system provides durability, sustainability and energy efficiency, while delivering superior performance for wind uplift resistance and waterproofing. A 10, 15, 20, or 30-year warranty is also available. The roofing components work together to create a seamless blanket of insulation that seal out air and water, while eliminating thermal bridging.

“This system combines Spray Polyurethane Foam, one of the best insulators in the commercial roofing market, with FleeceBACK EPDM and FAST® Adhesive – considered one of the ultimate fully adhered commercial roofing systems available today,” said Ron Goodman, Carlisle’s FleeceBACK product manager. “The composite system is extremely robust, offering industry-leading puncture, hail and wind uplift resistance.”

“As the market leader in spray polyurethane foam insulation, we are looking forward to working with Carlisle SynTec to offer building solutions that advance roofing systems,” said Michael Sievers, business manager, Spray Systems, BASF. “The combined roofing system will deliver a new sustainable advantage for the builder and facility manager as well as dramatically change the performance measures in roofing systems.”
