As wildfires continue to leave a trail of destruction throughout the US, a Charlotte company launches a new eco-friendly campfire solution called the Stump Stove. The Stump Stove is a self-sustaining product, providing a simple and safe fire source for camping and other outdoor activities in a single piece of wood.

Surprisingly basic and 100% natural, the Stump Stove is engineered from milled white pine that burns up to five times longer than traditional firewood. The secret is in its design – the core of the Stump Stove has precision cuts to maximize burn time and minimize smoke. To use the Stump Stove, a starter stick on the inside of the log must be lit with a long-nose lighter. By confining the combustion to the interior of the product, the chances of accidental burns and dangerous embers are drastically reduced. Consumers receive the same benefits of traditional campfires, outdoor enthusiasts from campers to tailgaters can safely enjoy a Stump Stove for cooking or relaxing.

“Statistics show that 90% of wildfire cases are due to human interaction with nature, either directly or indirectly.” says Stump Stove partner, Scott Brown. “We recognized a need for a convenient and chemical-free product that minimizes the chances for human error. We are excited to introduce the Stump Stove and are confident that our target consumers will appreciate its simplicity and effectiveness.”

The Stump Stove is available at http://www.stumpstove.com in five sizes, with approximate burn times ranging from two to ten hours per stump.
