Vero Beach, FL (PRWEB) June 22, 2011
Harbor Retirement Associates, a Vero Beach owned and operated Senior Living Corporation, secured its position on Floridatrend.com’s annual ranking of businesses in the state. Floridatrend.com covers the issues, people and ideas that define Florida’s business success, and the determinations are revenue-based.
HRA ranked 195th in the list of Top 200 Privately Held Companies. The website bases its rankings on revenue growth, and it reports that overall revenue in privately-held companies grew 8.8% over the last year. Industries on the list include hospitality, technology and retail. HRA is one of just two companies in the Senior Living sector to appear on the list.
HRA is headquartered in Vero Beach and employs over fourteen hundred people, primarily in Florida. Marc Vorkapich, COO, is looking forward to continued success for the company. He says “This recognition does more than indicate economic improvement. It is proof that careful planning, fiscal responsibility, and – most importantly – supporting and motivating our associates to be their best all add up to success.” HRA exceeded Floridatrend.com’s revenue average and reported a 10.3% increase over the last year. The company has seventeen communities throughout the east coast, eleven of which are in Florida. They recently launched a redesigned corporate website (hraseniorliving.com) which won a major design award.
Vorkapich concludes, “HRA’s core values of respect, attentiveness, integrity, stewardship and excellence are the cornerstone of every decision we make. When we started the company we hoped that these values would pay the highest dividends, both financially and with associate morale. The Floridatrend.com recognition is a great example of how a shared vision delivers a positive outcome.”
