We are honored to partner with PCTI to help educate and shape the workforce of tomorrow.

F3 Engineering, an aerospace industry and manufacturing company, recently awarded two $2,500 scholarships to Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) graduates Michel Monegro and Jonathan Neri. The recipients, both of Paterson, were selected from a pool of applicant essays submitted for consideration for the scholarships. PCTI provides training to 3,200 students, enabling them to compete in the marketplace.

“We are honored to partner with PCTI to help educate and shape the workforce that will be meeting the future demands of the aerospace manufacturing industry,” said F3 Engineering President Odilo Vazquez, PhD, “and helping train those who will serve as an important part of tomorrow's workforce.”

Monegro, who completed the Manufacturing Technology course of study at PCTI, is hoping to pursue a degree in Engineering. “My entire life I have been curious about how things work,” he said. “I think a career in Engineering is something I will enjoy.”

Neri, who completed the Engineering tract while attending PCTI, is also planning on pursuing an Engineering degree. “The idea of a machine operating on its own without physical human touch has always fascinated me,” Neri said.

F3 confirmed its commitment to education last year when the company announced it was creating the $5,000 scholarship in addition to providing internships for students interested in machining and technical assembly.

At that same time the company also announced an agreement with Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken to serve as a co-op program employer. The program allows undergraduate and graduate students from the school to work full-time in the areas of engineering and science that are related to their majors and career goals.
