Mobile Application Designed to Improve Rewards Program Engagement with On-Demand Access

Maritz is going mobile with the addition of a new Deal of the Day application to the Maritz AwardHQ Collection. Through a reduced-price daily reward, the new mobile app increases excitement and engagement for participants and keeps rewards programs top of mind – leading to better program results. The app is available on select smartphones, including the iPhone, Android, Nexus and Blackberry.

Deal of the Day is both a mobile application that is downloaded to smartphones by program participants and a website that can be accessed via AwardHQ. The app and website have the same functionality and daily deals. Participants have access to deals ranging from 10 to 50 percent off for popular brands such as Apple®, Canon, Cuisinart, Nike, Sony®, Bose® and Michael Kors. Functionality is similar to other social discount programs such as Groupon in that each discount is only available for a limited time, to enrolled members.

The mobile app also allows program participants to spread the word on deals of the day through social media integration on Facebook and Twitter, creating instant viral marketing campaigns.
