Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) June 23, 2011
Two local entrepreneurs, David Nilssen and Jeff Levy, announced the release of their book “Making the Jump into Small Business Ownership.” Nilssen, cofounder of Bellevue-based Guidant Financial, and Levy, an Entrepreneur’s Source Franchisee, provide practical advice as well as stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things through small business and franchise ownership.
“Nearly 10% of American workers are currently unemployed and for many people, the best option is to pursue entrepreneurship,” says Jeff Levy. Jeff, who was named the Entrepreneur’s Source Franchisee of the Year in 2009, said “David and I decided to write the book in hopes it would be a guide for those who have dreamed of one day becoming self-sufficient.”
Nilssen, who was named the National Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Small Business Administration in 2007, hopes that their book motivates those who have thought of owning a business to finally realize their dream. “I’ve been fortunate enough to help thousands of individuals in all fifty states go into business for themselves. Our hope is the book will serve as a catalyst to thousands more.”
