Improved Features and a new name are now a part of GM's pre-owned vehicle program

K ansas State Cars is now offering the new GM used vehicle program that has enhanced features and a better warranty. General Motors is now including two years of maintenance with the purchase of a certified pre-owned Chevrolet, Buick or GMC vehicle. Owner Care, the new and improved program, will offer two years of standard maintenance, including oil changes, and bumper-to-bumper warranty—the first of its kind.

“Customers demand more value for their money, and we have responded,” said Jennifer Costabile, general director of marketing and sales support, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations. “We believe our enhanced program offers our customers an outstanding experience from the moment they drive their Chevrolet, Buick or GMC Certified Pre-Owned vehicle off the lot.”

The new maintenance program continues to offer the 12,000-mile/12-month bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year/100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty. General Motors stayed on top of safety and increased the 117 point inspection to 172 points. Owner Care also has 24-hour road-side assistance with courtesy transportation and a free trial of OnStar. Sirius Satellite Radio free trial will remain standard, too.

General Motors listened to customer needs and responded to what customers felt was most important in designing Owner Care. In doing so, General Motors is able to ensure owners will be able to feel confident in buying new vehicles and trade-in values.

“One of the most important things we can do is manage the business to help increase the value of Chevrolet, Buick and GMC used vehicles,” said Don Johnson General Motors vice president US Sales Operations. “This increased value gives potential new vehicle customers more for their trade-ins, thereby lowering their ownership costs.”

Kansas State Cars offers a great selection of pre owned General Motors, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles—which will all come with the Owner Care Maintenance Program. Kansas State Cars feels customers should find trust in the buying experience and with Owner Care General Motors has ensured that.
