Webiplex announced today that its latest DocuPeak business process management (BPM) platform release contains a suite of new features for mobile devices, in particular tablets and iPads. The enhancements are delivered via Web app technology, and thus work natively on both Android and iOS platforms. The new feature set allows the mobile worker to “fill-out” DocuPeak “forms” via an iPad or tablet-sized device, in addition to retrieving documents from DocuPeak’s document repository.
Webiplex is not just adding mobile “support” with the new mobile features, “we are specifically targeting the mobile platform and its unique use in a business process workflow,” said Rob Rennie, Founder and CTO. “Mobile-unique features such as geo-location and media input can be added to forms and business process rules defined based upon them.”
