For author Toni Walker Guillory, as the twenty-first century continues to unveil, it will bring in the next dimension of praise and worship like people have never seen before. She believes this is happening because of a transformation and renewal of peoples’ minds. In From Mourning to Dancing: Why We Have Purpose, she shares a spiritually inspiring read that yields new insights and revelations to readers.
According to Guillory, people are becoming more freely and spiritually open to the teachings of Jesus Christ. She thinks praise dance ministries are inclusive to the church services that are causing such a sweep across the nation globally. But on the other hand, people all have had some setbacks that are unexplainable, and they ask the question “Why?” This has caused their road in life to be a struggle and challenge to bondages unknown. From Mourning to Dancing explores some possibilities that will bring hope and change. The author points out that the inability to adapt to change is the demonstration of a lack of faith. The ability to adapt to change is the demonstration of faith.
The author’s previous book, Dancing in the Spirit for the Twenty-First Century has set the foundational standard in this millennium to enhance the right kind of spirit that God can use in peoples’ dancing and daily lives. This book teaches each one how his or her character and commitment will develop by staying, standing, and being found faithful to the Lord for spiritual growth. If one has a desire or if one is seeking how to get to the next level, the answers can be found in From Mourning to Dancing.
