Moreover Technologies’ Newsdesk 4 news and social media monitoring, refinement and sharing service won a Stevie® Award in the New Product or Service of the Year-Media & Entertainment-Up to 100 Employees category at the 9th Annual American Business AwardsSM(ABA) gala June 20 in New York City.
A finalist from more than 2,800 nominations in 40-plus categories, Newsdesk 4 won out over five other category contenders and shared the stage with such high-profile winners as Jeffrey Bezos, Chairman of the Board, President & CEO, Amazon.com, Inc. (Executive of the Year) and Apple Inc. (Best Overall Company of the Year). Emcee Cheryl Casone, Fox Business Network anchor, addressed 600-plus executives in attendance.
More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the Finalists and Stevie Award winners. The 2011 ABAs honored an all-inclusive spectrum of American business people.
Newsdesk 4 social and news media monitoring gives users unified portal access to millions of daily news articles and social media posts, and ability to refine results immediately using comprehensive cutting-edge faceted search and filtering tools. Easy-to-use sharing tools include automated newsletters, email alerts, and editorial control of feeds shared.
Newsdesk 4 is now a repeat award-winner. In January, Moreover Technologies took home dual CODiE honors, including first-ever “Best Information Solution” SuperCategory Award and “Best Content Aggregation Solution” award. The CODiE Awards are presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), principal trade association for the software and digital content industry. The ABA accolade further reinforces a favorable independent review of Newsdesk 4 conducted by FreePint Research last fall.
Moreover Technologies’ President Paul J. Farrell noted, “We felt we had something really special with Newsdesk 4. Evidently, our assessment was correct. And speaking of something special, kudos once again to the Moreover team for its continuing contributions to Newsdesk’s excellence.”
