ASID is a hugely important network of interior designers for us. The more we can introduce them to our materials... the more we hope these materials will start cropping up in more ...applications.

As part of a Reynolds Polymer Technology, Inc.’s (RPT) increased push into the architectural and interior design fields, RPT attended their first meeting with the ASID Washington State Chapter in Seattle on Tuesday as part of the Chapter’s Continuing Education Unit (CEU) offerings.

RPT’s Regional Account Manager Joshua Fritz was on-hand at the meeting with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) with product samples to allow the attendees to examine the material close-up, ask questions, and see examples of how the material can be used in projects.

“We’re excited that ASID Washington State Chapter invited us to attend,” said Matt Houlihan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “ASID is a hugely important network of interior designers for us. The more we can introduce them to our materials and educate them on how to use them, the more we hope these materials will start cropping up more in commercial and residential applications alike.”

RPT displayed a sampling of the entire range of architectural products: R-Cast Ice, which is a deeply textured, non-repetitive acrylic ice product; R-Cast Mirage and R-Cast Palette, both of which use the same technology to create limitless permutations of colors, graphics, photos, and images – all of which can be customized; R-Cast Dura, our Class A / Class I fire-rated material; R-Cast Textures, both surface and deeply carved textures available for use with resin and acrylic materials; and our newest material, R-Cast Impressions, which uses a heat lamination process to encapsulate patterns in resin panels.

ASID Washington State Chapter CEU/Skills Party was held Tuesday, June 21 at 2:30pm at the Seattle Design Center, 5701 Sixth Ave South, Suite 391, Seattle, WA 98108. More information may be found at http://bit.ly/l0j0pw .
