Lightspeed Research Expands Presence in Hong Kong

Lightspeed Research has expanded its presence in Hong Kong to better serve existing clients and address increasing opportunities in the APAC region, and has appointed Paul Wong SVP, Business Development, APAC.

Lightspeed Research announced it has expanded its presence in Hong Kong to better serve existing clients and address increasing opportunities in the APAC region.

Paul Wong, formerly general manager at Internet solutions provider Jump Web Services Ltd., has joined Lightspeed Research as SVP, Business Development, based in Hong Kong. He will lead the company’s commercial efforts across the APAC region, assisted a team of business development and account service professionals, including Sej Patel, VP Business Development, who is relocating from Lightspeed Research’s Sydney office.

In addition, the company has moved into new office space in the city’s Quarry Bay section. The new offices better accommodate Lightspeed Research’s team of 20 market research experts, as well as provide room for expansion. In line with its strategy to provide clients with exceptional local staff support and expertise, Lightspeed Research expects to grow its Hong Kong team to 30 by the end of 2011.
