Herceg Network Inc. today announced both the release of the Btracking 2.0 platform and the expansion of its GPS service with new, industry leading hardware solutions. Btracking is a powerful GPS tracking service designed to give companies increased visibility into their mobile workforce, allowing them to better manage and monitor their off-site employees and assets.
Btracking’s primary solution is a simple downloadable application that turns employee smartphones into GPS trackers. While continuing to use the same, market leading GPS infrastructure, the release of the new 2.0 platform provides users with a new, redesigned mapping portal plus a new set of features including enhanced privacy controls, routing functionality, and reporting capabilities.
Stephen Montano, director of Marketing and Communications for Btracking commented, “We`re excited to be bringing this new release to our existing customer base and the wider, growing market for GPS based solutions. This service upgrade makes it easier than ever for companies to manage their mobile workforce and thereby improve accountability, punctuality, productivity and more. Businesses can be up and running in less time, assign unique routes to employees and even designate specific hours during the day when the tracking features are turned off. Our goal is to make mobile workforce management as accessible, effective and affordable as possible. The release of Btracking 2.0 I think achieves that goal.”
George Adamidis, vice president, Client Services added, “In addition to the upgraded Btracking platform, we’ve also expanded our service offering to meet the needs of customers with specific fleet and asset tracking requirements. I think by offering GPS tracking of smartphones andtraditional hardware units, we are well positioned to meet all the workforce and asset tracking needs of our customers.”
Herceg Network, founded in 2009, first launched its GPS mobile tracking solution in 2009 to provide businesses with a better means of managing their mobile workforce. The mobile application, when downloaded to a compatible device, will begin transmitting GPS data to Btracking’s servers. This information is then made available to users via the Btracking Mapping Portal where companies have access to real time and historical data including location, routes traveled, speed, zones entered and more. Btrackingworks globally and is available on a month to month subscription basis for less than $20/month. No additional hardware is required and there are no set up fees.
