We are pleased and prepared to deliver outstanding service to the Coast Guard.
McLean, VA (PRWEB) June 24, 2011
Kevin Harkins, Ph.D., President and CEO of Harkcon, Inc., recently announced Harkcon’s receipt of a U.S. Coast Guard Human Resources Directorate (CG-1) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for analytical support services; specifically the analysis, development, and refinement of human resources policies, procedures and tools that support the effective management of all parts of the Coast Guard workforce. Harkcon was one of four contractors to be awarded a BPA and will compete for task orders within the Coast Guard’s human resources system. The BPA will include program management and integration services, analytical support, policy research development, performance interventions, and change management and communications support.
"This is who we are, what we do and where we do it,” said Harkins. “I am completely thrilled to be able to make a meaningful contribution to a Service that is close to our hearts. We are pleased and prepared to deliver outstanding service to the Coast Guard.”
Harkcon created and leads an impressive team of businesses on this BPA. Joining Harkcon are Alion Science and Technology, Dell Services Federal Government, Grant-Thornton LLP, Interactive Technology Group, Inc., and Sonalysts, Inc. “Each company was invited to join the team to allow us to analyze the Coast Guard’s human resources challenges from a variety of perspectives and quickly devise and orchestrate total solutions that are tailored to the distinct needs of this requirement,” said Keith Curran, Harkcon COO and Contract Project Manager. “Each team member brings specific and unique attributes that contribute to the team’s total strength,” he continued, “I’m ready for the task orders to start rolling.”
