The 61st Annual NAREE Journalism Awards were recently announced by the National Association of Real Estate Editors. Inman News™ is pleased to report that five of its writers were honored this year. Each recipient was up against writers from reputable news organizations such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and AOL Real Estate and Inman News congratulates them on their achievement. NAREE acknowledges excellence in reporting, writing and editing. It is the only association of writers, editors, columnists and freelancers that covers residential, commercial and financial real estate.
Inman News Reporters, Matt Carter and Andrea Brambilia received the second place award in the category of Best Team Report for their three-part series “Rebuilding Homeownership.”
Andrea Brambilia also won the second place award in the category of Best Series for her three-part report, “Meet the Cashbuyers.”
Katie Lance, Inman News’ social media director, received the second place award for Best Blog for The Future of Real Estate Marketing (FOREM).
Mary Umberger, a regular Inman News Contributor, won first place for Best Freelance Collection for the second year in a row.
Ken Harney, an Inman News Columnist, won first place for Best Column.
