OrangeHRM 2.6.5 contains a completely re-engineered Personnel Information Management module, which has been meticulously crafted to help small and medium-sized enterprises.
Converting the modules into Symfony, which is one of the best frameworks for PHP, this version aims at increasing the usability of the application, thereby giving its user the utmost in terms of flexibility and productivity.
The Personal Information Management module and the Leave Management module were two of the main focuses since the release of 2.6. Driven by feedback from the community and clients, the new look, features and framework of this model are designed to drastically enhance ease of navigation and information summation. Keeping in mind that leave management impacts directly on business performance, the OrangeHRM 2.6.5 Leave module comprises such features as defining a fiscal year, an enhanced leave summary format, categorized leave lists and advanced leave notifications.
Advanced yet user-friendly features such as the option to create a user account for an employee whilst adding the user, additional search criteria, attachments and custom fields for each tab, and configurable options to hide selected personal details fields are some of the highlights in the PIM module, resulting in a simple, easy-to-use and intuitive interface.
