Vancouver Canucks partner RHINO.ca wraps up Rhino Cup Run 2011 by awarding fourth and final prize.

Following a great playoff run by the Vancouver Canucks, the final prize in Rhino Cup Run 2011 has been awarded. RHINO.ca launched the free Vancouver Canucks themed playoff pool prior to an emotional first round battle with the Chicago Blackhawks, and awarded prizes to winners in each of four playoff rounds.

Vancouver Canucks fans battled for leaderboard supremacy by predicting game scores and number of shutouts, and making their picks in seven categories, including most goals, assists, shots on goal, and penalty minutes. Contestants were able to enter their picks until the puck dropped in game one of each series, and log-in anytime to see how they fared against the competition.

“Vancouver fans were really excited about the playoff run, this year especially. We had a feeling they would appreciate this kind of free hockey pool” said Doug Morneau, RHINO.ca’s Chief Rhino. “When registration opened before the first game against the Blackhawks, we had more than 500 entries in less than 24 hours.”

Round four winner, Brad Bonar, took home an authentic Ryan Kesler jersey and RHINO.ca prize pack. Bonar, a Vancouver Canucks fan since the mid-eighties, finished an impressive 20 points ahead of the second place contestant. Winners from rounds one through three were Chris Chutter, Kyle Singh, and Kim Teeple, respectively, all of whom went home with jerseys and prize packs of their own.
