Sent on a mission to reunite the war-torn kingdom, Lady Jael and Prince William will face a darker enemy than either has ever encountered. In her second book about the Lady of the Haven, A Gathering of Eagles (published by AuthorHouse), author Betty Thomason Owens continues her romantic tale of fantasy and high adventure.

While The Lady of the Haven novels are fantasy, they could almost be historical romance. Most of the Haven's anomalies can be explained scientifically, such as the Bermuda Triangle. In A Gathering of Eagles, Jael (no longer in the Haven), discovers strange phenomena has followed her.

“She [Jael of Rogan – Lady of the Haven] is a woman who listens to her own heart and follows after the man she loves,” says Owens. “Of all my characters in all the stories I have written, she is my favorite.”

Lady Jael is not only a gifted healer, but also has the gift of invisibility, a heightened sense of sight and acute hearing.

From the beginning of A Gathering of Eagles readers will be enthralled as Owens tells of an approaching darkness and the fight for her kingdom against the evil Din Glun and his marauding army, who aims to capture the Lady of the Haven.
