Summer is a great time in the Rogue Valley and we’re looking forward to seeing what people love about living here.
Medford, OR (PRWEB) June 29, 2011
Southern Oregon Media Group is asking readers to use their film-making skills to create a three-minute video about why they love summer in the Rogue Valley and submit it to the Lover Letters to Summer Video Contest for a chance to win!
Site visitors can upload their videos from now until 5pm on August 6th. After the submission deadline, readers can vote for their favorite August 7th at 6am through August 28th at 6pm. At the conclusion of the contest three top winners will be selected by the Mail Tribune and Daily Tidings web team and each will receive gift cards from Cinemark. They will be judged on technical merit, originality and the way they capture the essence of summer in the Rogue Valley. Online voters will determine the People's Choice award winner, who will receive a $20 Mellelo's gift card.
“Summer is a great time in the Rogue Valley and we’re looking forward to seeing what people love about living here,” said Anita Burke, web editor for MailTribune.com. “The contest is also a chance to highlight one more thing we love about covering Southern Oregon – the terrifically talented people who work and play here year-round.”
Voting will be restricted to one vote per day per person. Entry to the contest, which is free, must be done using the upload tool on the contest page. For additional rules, visit the contest page at http://www.MailTribune.com/LLTS.
