St. Augustine, FL (PRWEB) June 30, 2011
Homes by Deltona has purchased Grand Ravine, a private, 34-acre community located at U.S. 1 and Rohers Road near St. Augustine Shores. Original plans for the Mediterranean-style community called for 24 buildings and 147 units. Homes by Deltona is redesigning the plans to accommodate demand for more one-floor units. Details, including the new designs and pricing, will be available later this year. The developer also acquired four existing Grand Ravine homes and is offering them for sale from the $190s.
“Grand Ravine is now the fifth community that we’ve purchased in St. Johns County,” said Karen Palmer, general sales manager at Homes by Deltona. “As Florida’s number-one school district, we strongly believe that St. Johns County will continue to be a highly sought-after place to live.”
Situated minutes away from St. Augustine’s renowned restaurants, quaint Anastasia Island and the beach, Grand Ravine features brick-paver sidewalks, a pool for residents and screened, covered lanais. As one of the few condominium communities meeting Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and Veterans Affairs (VA) Department requirements, Grand Ravine is FHA and VA approved.
The existing units, all townhome style, feature a minimum of 1,794 square feet with either a one- or two-car garage, upscale interior finishes and quality construction. Energy-efficient features include concrete tile roofs and a pre-cast concrete wall system.
Priced at $224,900, the 1,980-square-foot Pablo model has three bedrooms, two full baths, one half bath, an attached two-car garage, and ceramic tile flooring throughout the first floor and in all second-floor bathrooms.
The 1,790-square-foot Carla floor plan includes an attached one-car garage, three full baths, one half bath, a large loft for a den or office, and two master suites – one downstairs and one upstairs with a balcony. The smaller Rosa model has 1,560 square feet with three bedrooms, two full baths, one half bath, and an attached one-car garage.
Grand Ravine is located on U.S. 1 approximately six miles south of Route 312. For more details, prospective buyers should contact David Huffstettler at (904) 797-4126. For information on Homes by Deltona, visit http://www.homesbydeltona.com.
