David Lloyd Leisure, Europe’s leading health, sports and leisure operator has launched their new ‘bootcamp’ shape up programme in several of their clubs across the UK.
The 10-session programme, run over 2 consecutive weeks, is aimed at participants achieving maximum fitness in minimal time and include body fat measurements (before and after), a nutritional information pack and ongoing support.
Group health and fitness manager for David Lloyd Leisure, Rob Beale said: ‘Feedback from our members indicate they are often time poor and want an intensive, effective exercise programme that gets them the fitness results they want, in minimal time. The bootcamp programme is ideal for anyone wanting to kick start their fitness regime or give their existing programme a big boost.”
The 1-hour sessions are held outdoors and involve a wide range of cardio and strength exercises, including interval work and bodyweight exercises, giving an all over body workout. Participants can burn up to 1000 calories per session.
