Perform Pain Reliever's IRC program benefited Pink-Link's Breast Cancer Support Network.

We’ve built our business by providing products that help individuals manage their pain. Pink-Link’s purpose supports our vision, and we are pleased that our program raised dollars to support individuals surviving and fighting breast cancer.

Performance Health, makers of Perform and Biofreeze® Pain Relievers, and Thera-Band® Progressive Resistance products, developed an Instant Redeemable Coupon (IRC) program in support of Pink-Link Breast Cancer Support Network, an online support resource for women affected by breast cancer. Perform Pain Reliever’s IRC program resulted in savings for the consumer and a donation for Pink-Link for each coupon redeemed. The program concluded with a total donation of $5,000 to Pink-Link.

“Pink-Link is a small, grassroots organization and Performance Health’s donation will help us in making some needed changes to our website and continuing our community outreach program,” commented Vicki Tashman, founder of Pink-Link. “Creating awareness for Pink-Link is vital so that all survivors are able to get the support and hand holding they need to continue their journey. We are very grateful to Performance Health.”

Pink-Link is a nonprofit organization and all breast cancer support services are free. Pink-Link's key service, an online database of breast cancer survivors, creates an intimate and personal link between breast cancer survivors. This "mentor-survivor" relationship provides the essential on-going support needed to endure treatment of breast cancer.

“Pink-Link has impacted thousands of lives by matching women diagnosed with cancer with women who have experienced the same diagnosis. These women offer each other real life experiences and perspectives that cannot be found at a clinic or doctor’s office,” stated Chas Tabone, Associate Trade Marketing Manager at Performance Health. “We’ve built our business by providing products that help individuals manage their pain so they can live a full and active lifestyle. Pink-Link’s purpose supports our vision, and we are pleased that our program raised dollars to support individuals surviving and fighting breast cancer.”
