Ars Logica announces today the launch of its CMS blog for chief technology officers. For this new forum, Ars Logica has invited CTO’s and their peers from a wide range of CMS manufacturers to contribute their perspectives on current and emerging problems in the CMS market. The goal of the blog is to help potential CMS buyers understand the viewpoints of the leading technical minds behind the products they might purchase. In its first few weeks, the blog will feature the opinions of CTO’s from vendors such as Sitecore, SDL Tridion, Ingeniux, Ektron, eZ Systems, Jahia, GX Software, Kentico, TERMINALFOUR, Bridgeline Digital, and others.

Ars Logica, a vendor-neutral analyst and consulting firm specializing in content management technologies, is launching this blog with the intent of creating a meaningful dialogue between the buyers and creators of leading CMS, WCM, and WEM (Web Engagement Management) applications. “Over the years, CMS buyers have experienced nearly insurmountable difficulties in obtaining frank and honest assessments of critical-but-sensitive industry trends from technology providers. This new blog will serve as a means of distributing candid, up-to-the-minute answers to the questions our clients commonly ask of vendors,” says Ars Logica founder Tony White. “While we have a long list of thorny topics in our queue, we invite readers of the blog to contact us directly to submit their own questions.” Ars Logica will publish several CTO responses weekly, and it begins this week with the question: “Which do you believe has more impact on the CMS buyer's ability to implement an effective WEM strategy: the CMS platform itself, or the system integrator who implements it? Why?”
