After nine months of consistent SEO efforts, Hollywood Hills real estate broker Laura Hall has succeeded in achieving page one Google rankings for her website, http://www.HollywoodHillsHomes.biz. For home buyers searching for “Hollywood Hills Real Estate” and “Hollywood Hills Homes”, her website ranks 7 and 10 respectively as of June 30, 2011.

Reaching page one of the search engine rankings required a multi-pronged approach. Hiring a good website designer was key. Adding relevant content to the website regularly was mandatory. Periodic digital press releases linking back to the site further helped. The website also features MLS listings and a search capability to attract buyers. Buyers can sign up to have listings automatically emailed to them that meet their criteria. If they see something they like, they can contact Laura with the MLS # and request a showing appointment. For sellers, it means choosing a broker who is tech-savvy enough to thoroughly market and expose the property to as many buyers as possible.

Of course, old-fashioned door knocking and open houses are the tried and true methods of reaching sellers and buyers of real estate. “We remember the basics. However, it’s nice to know that people can find you and your product simply by using a few words and the internet,” Laura explains.
