AUCTIONATA, the World’s First Live Online Auction Platform
AUCTIONATA, an unaffiliated e-commerce firm, is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, and has set new standards for online auctions with its independently developed and recently patented software. Buyers, sellers, dealers and auctioneers can now participate in real-time auctions covering a wide variety of categories at http://www.auctionata.com – online and therefore without geographical restrictions. The unique AUCTIONATA system ensures that the optimal price is received for each item offered in the world’s largest auction room. Every online auction is run by a licensed auctioneer. Unlike other online auction platforms, all AUCTIONATA participants – the Auctionistas – are verified, as everyone must have an AUCTIONATA account to participate in an auction. AUCTIONATA has been in its beta phase since April 2011, and regular auctions will be held starting in September 2011. The platform’s numerous categories include 20th century design, fine jewelry, rare Scotch whiskey, luxury travel and antique autographs.
