Unlike most conventional Top 10 Lists, especially with the words "The Best" or "The Greatest" in their titles, that are usually based on "personal favorites" and "personal opinions" --- be it lists for films, television shows, songs, albums, books, novels, authors, writers, operas, Broadway shows, museums, wines, rock and roll bands, champagnes, vehicles, resorts, beaches, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, websites, soccer teams, athletes, presidents --- you name it --- this Top 10 List was drawn from actual online Google Images and is based on comprehensive information and research --- not on "personal tastes."

Why Google? Why Google Images?

Our answer is --- Why not Google? Why not Google Images?

Google is the #1 Most Viewed Website in the World! Which means that it is the #1 source for the latest Information in the World today!. And furthermore, the Internet World has become a "world" in its own right and in its own reality. Anyone from anywhere can access the same information. The Internet levels the playing field, so to speak. No wonder it is now the source for most information delivery!

In the "good old days," we used to see things in this world "in-person." Original paintings were viewed as an "in-person" Art experience at a museum or an art gallery. Not any more... Google Images and numerous other websites and online art galleries have changed all that!

How did we get from there to here? First, along came the movies. And then television. And then the Internet. Millions of people from all over the planet are now viewing paintings online (in reality - photographs of paintings) and probably most of them will never see the originals or any of the World Famous Paintings "in-person" during their lifetimes. Does that inability for people to view artworks or original paintings "in-person" make them any less capable of appreciating Art? We think not.

How many of us in the Art profession have actually seen "in-person" all or many of the original artworks on Famous Paintings lists?

If people have access to a computer they can become art collectors or investors right online, or at least art viewers and hopefully --- Art Lovers!

The paintings in our "new" list have been viewed by countless millions of people on the world-wide-web over the years and most likely on Google Images, which can become an immediate online "Art Museum."
