The satellite imagery, provided by DigitalGlobe, was licensed by Paramount Pictures for use in the major motion picture starring Shia LaBeouf and produced by Steven Spielberg.

For Transformers: Dark of the Moon, DigitalGlobe satellite imagery of various locations including Chicago and Washington, D.C. were selected and enhanced. Multiple image tiles were mosaiced to create large, seamless images for use in the film. This technique is ideal for very large prints and posters, as well as film and television projects.
