Hawthorne is a research and strategy professional with a 20-year record of innovation and success in developing and delivering business intelligence. Over the course of his career, he has led efforts to maximize the strategic value of information and its tactical application in such areas as product development, competitive positioning, sales lead generation, revenue generation, and campaign outreach.

Before turning his attention to the Internet, Hawthorne enjoyed a successful career in cable television marketing research. He created and directed the research department at The Travel Channel, and also developed innovative analysis methods in audience and media research with the Turner Broadcasting and Discovery Communications.
