It’s been slightly bittersweet to change our name after 16 years of building a business as JWCS. But it’s a wonderful opportunity and an exciting new chapter.

Jamison West Consulting Services, Inc. (JWCS), a dynamic team of trusted IT advisors for small to mid-size businesses in the Greater Puget Sound Area, today announced the unveiling of its new name, logo, and brand identity. JWCS is now Arterian.

At a morning unveiling event at the Microsoft Store in Bellevue, Arterian Founder & CEO Jamison West announced the new name, logo, and brand identity for the company he has owned and operated in Seattle since 1995. The change to Arterian is effective immediately as of July 1, 2011, and West will continue in his role as CEO.

In addition to almost a full year of research and planning with a team of brand strategy and design professionals, the announcement of the new name, logo, and brand identity is the culmination of a vigorous year of growth for Arterian, following mergers with X-Bar, LLC in July 2010 and Titanium Ant, LLC in March 2011. With these key acquisitions in place, Arterian has grown its staff from three to thirty employees within a short three year period, significantly bolstering its Professional Services team while also providing a deeper level of Managed IT support services to small and medium size business clients.

Regarding the decision to give Arterian its fresh identity, West explains: “What I realized about a year ago is that JWCS is just a representation of my initials. But it’s not just about me anymore. It’s about my clients and my staff. It’s about people.”

West further adds, “It’s been slightly bittersweet to change our name after 16 years of building a business as JWCS. But it’s a wonderful opportunity and an exciting new chapter.”
