For the fourth consecutive year, Axium, a leading developer of accounting and project management software for architects and engineers, has placed on The Portland Business Journal’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies.
“Making the Top 100 this year is extra special,” said Dan Laun, Director of Sales & Services. “Our revenue in 2008 and 2009 were factored in the calculations, which were two of the hardest years the architecture and engineering industries have faced. And of the 100 companies, only 10 of them have been on the list for at least five years, so we’re creeping into elite company.”
The growth rate of the Top 100 companies measures the revenue growth from 2008 to 2010. To be eligible, companies must have shown revenue growth over the past three years. Axium has recorded annual revenue of just under 10 million dollars.
“In previous years, some of our growth has been fueled by a number of firms in our industry upgrading legacy software,” said Laun. “In 2010 and into this year, we’re seeing more growth as a result of AE firms abandoning current products in our market space, which we believe is a strong sign that Axium is positioned to continue the incredible rate of growth we seen these last four years.”
Included on the list of the Top 100 companies was Ash Creek Associates, Inc., who has been an Axium client since 2006, and has made the list of fastest growing companies for three consecutive years.
