Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 01, 2011
Andrew G. Poulos, EA, ABA, ATP, president of Poulos Accounting & Consulting, Inc., and producer of The Savvy Money Show on WAEC 860AM, has coordinated a series of events for Blair Griffith, Miss Colorado USA, during her visit to Atlanta July 6-9, 2011. This includes a meet-and-greet fundraiser on Saturday, July 9.
Griffith and her mother found themselves homeless just a month after winning the Miss Colorado USA title on Oct. 31, 2010. Griffith went on to compete in the national competition held June 19. According to news reports, she wanted to compete based on inspiration gained from her father, whose premature death from pancreatic cancer, combined with her mother’s health problems, forced the two from their Colorado residence.
The meet and greet autograph fundraiser will be held Saturday, July 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Comfort Suites, 2060 Crescent Center Blvd. in Tucker; fans will get to take photographs with Griffith. Donations are welcome, but not required. All proceeds will go to Griffith and her family.
