Europcar Ireland announces the launch of a new, more user-friendly website designed to further enhance the customer reservation experience.

Our new website offers our customers improved service and options in a more user friendly way. This has been a culmination of six months research and preparation and I am excited to finally present it to our customers.

Working together with Europcar International, Europcar Ireland is pleased to announce that a much improved web interface aimed at simplifying the online rental process for customers has just been launched. This new interface integrates the latest technological innovations to deliver the information customers need to make an informed purchase decision. One of the key features of the new website is the simple and fast three-step booking process. This process is the result of sophisticated user-testing technologies, and is designed to make the rental process as simple as possible. Once a quotation has been received, vehicle information is clearly presented. Customers are then presented with additional products such as GPS, additional driver and child seats which they may want to add to their rental.

Additional information on any car can be easily accessed, while additional products such as GPS units can be easily added to the rental. Europcar remain committed to sustainability, and as such now provide carbon emission information beside each car so you can make an environmentally informed car rental decision. Once a car has been selected, the customer is then brought to the reservation page which provides all the information about the rental being made.

Once the payment is completed, a location map of the station appears on the payment confirmation page to help the customer plan his/her itinerary to and from the chosen station. This map is also sent to the customer’s e-mail address. The rate information can also be sent by e-mail to 1 address.

Europcar Ireland is also pleased to announce the launch of the My Europcar service, which allows customers to easily modify or cancel an existing booking while also offering the functionality to print an invoice for any booking made within the previous six months. Becoming a member of My Europcar also allows customers to save their rental details, and quickly make new bookings without having to fill in your name, address and contact details.

Europcar are also delighted to now announce that they can now offer a range of vans for hire that are ideally suited for people moving house. The launch of the new website also brings the Europcar Privilege Program to Europcar.ie. This program takes account of the time pressures people are under, and provides members with crucial time-saving benefits. Many benefits are offered to members of the privilege program including:
