Sue Montgomery accepted the position of principal consultant at TayganPoint Consulting Group. She will lead the change management and communication practice.

Sue Montgomery joins TayganPoint Consulting Group as a principal consultant and lead to the change management and communication practice. Montgomery has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, innovation and process improvement programs, strategy, human resources, finance, marketing and operations.

Montgomery has a wide-range of experience leading a broad spectrum of customer driven business transformation programs and strategic change initiatives that deliver measurable results. “What makes me successful is a unique blend of business and consulting experience that guide my ability to lead organizations through change,” said Montgomery whose past work experience includes positions as a co-founder, Six Sigma/Lean principal consultant, head of human resources and learning & development, chief financial officer (CFO), and vice presidents of marketing, business strategy and operations. “I have a broad base of knowledge across multiple business functions and industries. I believe that customers value real-world experience. I’ve often experienced something similar to what the customer is experiencing, which helps me assess the business problem and frame an approach to solve it. They like that I’ve walked a mile in their shoes.”

She was previously employed at Fidelity Investments, where she led a process innovation team dedicated solely to solving complex business problems and transferring a fact based problem solving capability to the organization. She developed and led programs in business strategy, compliance, regulatory, risk management, global data management, pricing, treasury oversight, finance and organizational & operating model design.

Montgomery is a GE Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, J&J Process Excellence Assessor, based on the Malcolm Baldrige methodology, and is PMP trained. She is a certified executive leadership development coach with highly effective complex facilitation, training and communication skills. She is also an experienced GE Six Sigma, CAP/change management, WorkoutTM and Complex Facilitation instructor.
