"Taking Stock with Pimm Fox" is an hour-long program airing weekdays on Bloomberg Radio and Bloomberg TV, that is dedicated to helping viewers think like professional investors. On the show, host Pimm Fox talks to Wall Street's brightest minds, enterprising business leaders, and the creative geniuses behind the next "big thing."
During the Wednesday, June 15 program, Fox spoke with Whyte about how he arrived at the decision to debut Good Time Beverages' first two brands, "Bob & Stacy’s™ Premium Margarita" and "Big Barrel Brandy™ XO", as well as how Whyte decided to package alcohol in the form of Good Time Beverages' "bar quality, full-proof drinks" in earth-friendly, easy-pour, re-sealable pouches. Fox also asked Whyte about how he initially discovered the products' patent-pending, fully recyclable packaging.
A point of particular interest to Fox, was the actual production process of Good Time Beverages pre-packaged cocktails. Whyte explained that since the Good Time Beverages products' alcoholic contents are flammable, the company had to have a Ventura, CA-based engineering firm custom-build production machinery for the Good Time Beverages Downey, CA plant, that utilized air as its power source – instead of electricity, which could run the risk of sparking flames.
As Fox interviewed Whyte about the eco-friendly facets of the Good Time Beverages product packaging, Whyte explained that the products' pouches weigh significantly less than traditional drink containers, lowering the carbon footprint of their shipping process. Whyte also stated that the pouches create less landfill waste as compared to other drink packaging.
"This is the most environmentally-friendly package on the market today," said Whyte, who also reported that Good Time Beverages planned to produce over six million drink pouches this year.
