This weekend saw the British festival summer go from strength to strength with the Cornbury music festival. WinkBall.com, the UK’s no. 1 video website brought their exciting video coverage to the weekend festivities and captured all the action as it happened.
Located in the harmonious and rural surroundings of Oxfordshire in Great Tew Park, Cornbury Festival has been known in the festival circuit as ‘Posh-stock’ for its idyllic and serene atmosphere and all round family fun – WinkBall reporters caught PM David Cameron there last year! The festival, hosting an array of sublime musical acts for all ages, such as quirky pop singer Eliza Doolittle, musical legend Cyndi Lauper, acoustic singer-songwriter James Blunt and rock and roll greats The Faces (now comprising of Mick Hucknall on vocals), Cornbury Festival 2011 was a weekend to remember for all involved. With WinkBall video reporters at the heart of Cornbury action, they spoke to the many families and festival goers in attendance and found out from them what makes Cornbury Festival such a unique and enjoyable festival, all through the emotional power of online video. By speaking to the fans and giving them an exciting and open platform to express their views, share their feelings and to have their say, WinkBall have created a fascinating insight into Cornbury Festival 2011 and discovered what makes it such a fantastic music festival for fans.
Speaking to the many fans in attendance, WinkBall managed to create a unique video story from Cornbury’s first to final day. With the festival now in its eighth year and now in a new location, Great Tew Park, WinkBall gathered opinion on the move with many fans praising the new location for its “increased and improved size” and “openness”. WinkBall also asked who fans would have liked to see perform as headliners for next year’s Cornbury, with acts the likes of ‘Example’, ‘Paolo Nutini’ and ‘Jessie J’ being just some of the acts fans would love to see perform for next year’s Cornbury.
