IntertechPira is pleased to announce the agenda for the third annual Wireless Power Summit. The event will feature 15 presentations from industry leaders from various sectors of the wireless power industry, including automotive, mobile devices, furniture and stand-alone wireless charging systems. Some of the topics to be covered include wireless power in the office, the Qi interface and wireless charging in automobiles.
Wireless Power Summit 2011 is expanding to a two-day event this year and will take place Oct. 13-14, 2011, at the Hilton San Jose in San Jose, Calif. Approximately 100 delegates from a variety of businesses, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, are expected to attend.
“We are pleased that due to the success of last year’s Wireless Power Summit we were able to increase the event to two days this year,” said Barbara Rojas, Senior Conference Producer at IntertechPira. “The program is very strong, with a number of different wireless power applications represented. There will also be many opportunities for attendees to network during the event, which is important in an industry where the technology itself is still relatively new.”
The conference will be chaired by LeRoy Johnson, Senior Director of Emerging Technologies, Leggett & Platt. Other speakers scheduled to present include David Baarman, Director of Advanced Technologies, Fulton Innovation; Bas Fransen, Chief Marketing Officer, Convenient Power; Michael Hanley, Engineering Manager, New Technology Development, Motorola; Peter Guckian, VP of Engineering, Qualcomm; John Knust, Director of Engineering, National Office Furniture; John Suh, Director of Hyundai Ventures; and Menno Treffers, Chairman, Wireless Power Consortium.
Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are also available, including during the hosted luncheons, breaks and receptions, which will be held throughout the event. Please contact Brian Santos at +1 207 781 9618 or brian(dot)santos(at)pira-international(dot)com if you are interesting in learning more about becoming a sponsor or exhibitor.
