AERC Recycling Solutions provides a solution for end-of-life electronics by adhering to a Zero-Waste-to-Landfill Policy on all accepted electronics and completely destroying any data contained on any accepted data storage device, such as a hard drive.

All accepted electronics are processed at AERC’s local Electronics Processing Facility, Com-Cycle, in Allentown, PA. This facility is NAID Certified and is in the process of obtaining R2/RIOS Certification, expecting to be listed as a Certified Electronics Recycler® in 2011. AERC stands out as the first company in the industry which now combines the rigorous permitting process under the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) for Hazardous Waste handling and processing as well as meeting the standards set by the R2 and RIOS Certification Programs.

Throughout the year, AERC offers members of its local communities other opportunities to recycle electronics. Individuals and small business owners may participate in any of AERC’s Electronics Recycling Collection Events hosted at municipalities, retailers and corporations throughout the country.

All AERC facilities have Drop Off Friday Hours every Friday from 9AM – 4PM. Local residents utilizing our facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Texas and California are welcome to drop off recyclable electronics. In Flanders, NJ, these Drop Off Friday Hours have been extended to Monday to Friday. In the state of New Jersey, AERC has also developed a growing network of partnering drop off locations throughout the state in an effort to offer convenient options for individuals and small business owners who have electronics for recycling.
