Colligo Contributor V4.3 provides seamless desktop user-experience for cloud-based or on-premise SharePoint

“Our goal with Contributor V4.3 was to provide an absolutely seamless SharePoint user-experience, whether SharePoint is hosted in the cloud, on-premise or in a hybrid environment,” says Trevor Dyck, Director of Product Management for Colligo.

Colligo Networks today announced that it has released Microsoft Office 365 support for its award-winning Colligo Contributor product suite. Microsoft Office 365 support is included in Version 4.3 of Colligo Contributor and is available immediately for trial or purchase.

Office 365 is Microsoft’s next-generation suite of productivity tools, combining Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Lync Online. SharePoint Online provides a single, integrated location that team members can access from anywhere, on virtually any device, and enables simple, highly secure collaboration and content management, both inside and outside the organization.

The Colligo Contributor suite drives SharePoint adoption by enabling users to easily access, capture, and tag SharePoint content from popular desktop applications, including Microsoft Outlook and Windows Explorer. Colligo Contributor’s offline caching capability enables users to create, view and edit SharePoint Online content, even when not connected to the cloud. Contributor V4.3 also contains several customer-driven enhancements and improvements.

“Our goal with Contributor V4.3 was to provide an absolutely seamless SharePoint user-experience, whether SharePoint is hosted in the cloud, on-premise or in a hybrid environment,” says Trevor Dyck, Director of Product Management for Colligo. “With Colligo Contributor, users can drag-and-drop emails, documents and files to the cloud, without even knowing that it's in the cloud. With its incredible ease-of-use, Colligo Contributor encourages users to utilize enterprise-sanctioned, secure, cloud-based storage rather than free consumer file-sharing services.”
