Rodent control manufacturing company, Victor®, announced today the launch of the Made in the USA Sweepstakes on their Facebook Page and micro site, MadeintheUSA.VictorPest.com. No purchase is necessary to enter, and six lucky winners will walk away with $500 cash. The Sweepstakes will run until September 25, 2011.
The Made in the USA Campaign was inspired by the company’s tradition of manufacturing and distributing products made in the U.S. Victor® wooden snap mousetraps have been manufactured in the USA since their inception in 1890. The company is proud to continue this tradition today and carry on its rich history.
After operations began in Oneida, NY, Victor®’s manufacturing moved to Lititz, PA in 1902, where the wooden traps are still made to this day. Proving its American pride, Victor® utilized its facility in Lititz during World War II to engage in various war efforts. From the production of army cots to fuse plugs and wire spring for parachutes, the company was proud to do its part for its homeland.
The Made in the USA Sweepstakes aims to raise awareness of Victor® mousetraps as a “home-grown” product. Today, Victor® manufacturing facilities remain in Lititz, PA, Knoxville, TN and Ellendale, MN.
