Loring Ward has developed a new 360 Discovery Process designed to help independent financial advisors better understand their clients’ life and financial goals.

Developed in partnership with noted retirement and planning expert, Barry LaValley, 360 Discovery is a comprehensive, intuitive and client-focused discovery process centered on clients’ needs, concerns, opportunities and goals.

“What sets 360 Discovery apart is a comprehensive framework designed to uncover both the emotional and empirical information that advisors need,” said Barry LaValley, president and founder of Right Brain Consulting. “Using the 360 Discovery approach means that an advisor is truly focused on the client, not just on their money.”

While many advisors use the discovery process solely for assessing risk tolerance and financial fact gathering (such as collecting past statements, determining risk tolerances, etc.), 360 Discovery is designed to facilitate conversation and uncover the personal, family and social issues that impact and influence financial decisions.
