Sci-Fi feature Alien Armageddon is directed by Neil Johnson and also stars Claudia Wells (Back to the Future) and Marilyn Ghigliotti (Clerks). In this exciting film the Nephilim, aliens once worshipped as gods, have returned to enslave humanity. After a terrible war, one city remains: Los Angeles. The Nephilim are scouring the defeated population for a rare blood type. The survivors of Los Angeles have formed an underground resistance to fight the conquering aliens from within. Jodie Elliott (Katharine McEwan), a single mother, is unwillingly thrust into the conflict, and she alone holds the key to defeating the alien scourge. She finds allies in the most unlikely of people, but can she sacrifice all to save humanity?
Katharine was born and raised in a small coastal town in the North East of England. This academy trained actresses impressive theatre credits include Private Lives at Long Beach Playhouse (Amanda); The Verdi Girls at Laguna Playhouse (originating the role of Breda); Night Mother at Stage Lee Strasberg; and Hamlet at The Next Stage (Queen Gertrude). Most recently she played Barbara in Theatre 40’s Ovation Award Winning show Black Coffee by Agatha Christie. As well as numerous independent films, including Dreams Play Apart that won Best Feature at the 2010 Bel Air International Film Festival, and Sinners that won Best Picture at the 2007 Swansea International Film Festival, UK.
After her stellar performance as Jodie Elliott Hollywood is already calling and we are sure to see more of the beautiful and talented Katharine McEwan. Alien Armageddon is due for release in August.
