Kelora Systems, LLC and Shopko Stores Operating Co., LLC. announced today that they have reached a settlement and patent licensing agreement. Under the terms of this agreement, Kelora has withdrawn its lawsuit against Shopko for infringement of U.S. Patent number 6,275,821 entitled "Method and system for executing a guided parametric search".
The agreement eliminates the need for any further court proceedings related to use of this patented technology and will allow Shopko, at its sole discretion, to incorporate Kelora's guided parametric search engine technology into its websites, including shopko.com.
This case is Case No. 11-cv-01548-CW in the District Court for the Northern District of California.
